Sales Terms and Conditions:

1. Returns are acceptable within 15 days of purchase when the merchandise is in resalable condition, i.e. all original boxes, parts, manuals and warranty registration cards must accompany the merchandise.  Items returned after the day of purchase will be returned for the current value of the item or the purchase price, whichever is less.  All returned merchandise is subject to a 20% restocking fee. 

2.  Opened software, opened printer cartridges, and books cannot be returned.

3.  $25.00 fee for all merchandise returned as defective that passes diagnostic tests.

4.  All special orders of non-stock items will be prepaid in full prior to ordering.  Any special order not accepted upon receipt of item will incur a 20% restocking fee.

5.  All merchandise remains property of TECH ADVANCED COMPUTERS until paid in full.  1.5% (18% APR) finance charge applied to all invoices due after 30days.  Customer is responsible for all collection fees associated with this invoice.   

6.  $20.00 charge for any returned checks.

7.  ITEMS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR RETURN AT ANY TIME ARE AS FOLLOWS:  OPEN SOFTWARE, OPEN INK AND TONER, MICROSOFT WINDOWS OEM SOFTWARE (OPENED OR UNOPENED), AND SPECIAL ORDERS OF NON-STOCK ITEMS.

8. Tax exempt purchases must be accompanied by a resale/tax exempt certificate at the time of purchase.  Sales tax will be charged if a certificate is not provided at time of purchase.  This is not to be confused with a vertificate of registration for collecting sales tax.  Anyone presenting an expired resale/tax exempt certificate will be charged sales tax at time of purchase.  Authorization may be obtained at the time of sale from the revenue department.  Open term customers may keep their certificate on file with our accounting office and provide a new certificate as requested. 

Service Terms and Conditions:

Tech Advanced Computers stands behind the quality and craftsmanship of its service department.  Tech Advanced Computers warranties all labor for a period of 15 days from the date of pick-up.  Excluded from this warranty is any damage caused during any shipment except for the shipment to the original purchaser and any damage caused by impacts, fluids, fire, flood, wind, earthquake, lightning or similar disaster, unauthorized modifications, attachments of peripherals, improper use, environment, installation or electrical supply improper maintenance, any other misuse, abuse or mishandling.  TECH ADVANCED COMPUTERS IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY EQUIPMENT NOT PICKED UP WITHIN 60 DAYS OF JOB COMPLETION.  A minimum $50 labor charge is charged on all computers, printers and laptops not covered under warranty.  THE LABOR CHARGES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.  Tech Advanced Computers also advises all customers to perform a complete backup prior to authorizing service work.  Tech Advanced Computers is not responsible for loss of data which may result from authorized service work.
